(Columbus) - The Columbus Apartment Association (CAA) held a food drive among member properties from October 13 – December 13 benefitting the Mid-Ohio Food Collective. Dozens of properties and companies took part from all over central Ohio. Some decorating boxes or going door-to-door looking for donations. There were even those that took decorated golf carts door to door looking for donations. The winner was Asherton of Dublin of Oakwood Management donated 3,377 total items. Oakwood Management held a competition within their properties. This competition led to the donations of over 13,750 items just from Oakwood Management. “We are really proud of the way our members embraced the competition and worked to contribute to such a good cause,” said CAA Executive Director Laura Swanson. “We haven’t done something like this in a long time and our members far exceeded our expectations. They set the bar high for future endeavors. We are thrilled we could provide so much to such a worthy cause during the holiday season and cold, Ohio winter.”
